A beautiful family session on a warm summer night, my favourite! This session was done at their own property, to make it extra special as they are moving. I have never had the pleasure of photographing two babies together for a Fresh 48 before, so this was very special. Two very proud brothers meeting their baby brother and sister for the first time. Oma who was present as well. Sessions like these are my absolute favourite! I love capturing all the moments, as a lot of the time those first day’s are kind of hazy. Enjoy having a peek inside this hospital room and the first moments with twins.

So let’s start with this beautiful Fresh 48 of a baby girl so loved already by her big brothers. I started with some photographs of baby girl as we waited for her brothers to arrive. It is one of my favourite moments to capture, siblings meeting baby for the first time. Some so excited, some hesitant. Enjoy looking through!

Hello there!
It has been over 2 years since I have posted a blog post! Where does time go?
With photography being so quiet through this whole pandemic period, I truthfully lost my desire to pick up my camera. It has been tough. I loved photographing all your special moments, your growing tummy, being there in the hospital to meet your little one and seeing your babies grow into little walking toddlers.
With finally life being back to some kind of normal I have gone through some old sessions and have enjoyed reliving some of these beautiful sessions. It’s about time that I bring some life back to my website, blog and other social media pages.

This beautiful girl was not so sleepy, but she loved being swaddled. Her mum had received a beautiful gift which included a hat, headband and wrap which was perfect for her session.

Photographing Jaxson was a dream come true. He was a beautiful baby boy, with his chubby cheeks. Weighing 11 lb and 1 oz he was my biggest Fresh baby to date, I could have photographed him all day.
Fresh sessions are so special as your baby changes so quickly and after labour you are so tired and a lot of the time forget all the little moments and details. These are my favourite to photograph!

I photographed Sonja’s beautiful growing bump a couple of months ago and I was excited to meet her beautiful little girl in the studio. I love photographing those precious first memories as new parents, and the love was so clearly seen during the session. I am so happy that it shows through in the images of Sonja and her beautiful daughter Lyla.

I am so behind with blogging, but as this beautiful mum already gave birth to a beautiful girl I really feel I should blog both of those sessions first. Hopefully I can catch up with the rest after.
